Christmas Challenge Day

This is the card that I made for the ugust challeng on Crafters ReUnited site. The remit was a non flat christmas card with no red or green. I don't normally go in for challenges (although this is my second in so many months 'lol') but thought I would give this one ago.

I did a stepper card. The penguins are Inkadinkadoo Penguin Pandemonium stamps. I Inked them and then enbossed with Stampendous Stamp Stuff enbossing powder and I even used my heat gun for the first time..(I bought it about 10 years ago or maybe more - never been out of the packet!!) I used Marvy Le Plume pens to colour them in (well the blueand yellow bits). The igloo was a stamp from Stamp Away. The greeting was from Papermania Percy and Penelope Christmas Greetings stamp set. Used white glitter card (hasn't come out well in the picture) on the card and the greeting ios backed with blue mirri card cut using nesties on the cuttlebug.

Kenny K Challenge card

Well I was doing a bit of a blog hop last night and kept coming across cards for the Kenny K latest challenge and I though mmm 'Bold & Bright', I can do that. So I found one of the images that I coloured when Pam came over for a play day the other day - the image is 'All That'. I coloured her with promarkers. The backing paper is from my stash as is the ribbon. The gems are Studio18 and the flowers are Recollections which I got over in Micheals in Florida. The greeting is from Craftwork cards I think..

Right off now to enter the challenge..

Last minute request...

Sitting watching the telly last night, I received a text message from my friend asking me if I can do her a card for her nephew who is 18 on Friday and she would like it so that she can sign it and send it when she gets home today. Now I know her nephew and he is a bit geeky and likes computers. So today I searched through my stash (well some of it :-)) and had nothing. So then I decided to try google - nothing, so then I went on clip art and came up with this image which is great cause it looks just like Jordan. So voila here is the card. Bacing paper from stash. Greeting done on computer and cut out with nesties and cuttlebug as was the image. Then added some card candy..
When my friend got home she loved it..

Nearly done them....

Well 2 more done for my August birthdays.. only one more to go... whoo hoo!

The first card here is for my son who is 22 week after next..(where has that time gone??). Anyway he loves all things Marvel and when I saw Toni's card done with this image, (see her blog here ) I knew I had to have it. It was from a Whiff of Joy here and it was a freebie download also... So here is my take on the card. I coloured it with promarkers. The card is bazzill card as is the blue card,. The red paper is from mt stash. Cut them out using nesties and some buttons I found that I didn't know I had. Hopes he likes it!
This card is for my good friend who is like a sister to me. The image is one that I found
and thought apt. The paper is from my stash as is the flowers and gems. The greeting is a stamp that I bought up at the Summer Crafting in Doncaster. It's an Inkadoo stamp. I really love the orange and yellow together. Hope she likes it.

Another couple..

Here are another 2 cards made today. They are for my great nephews.

The first one has black card matted on silver card for the backing. The image is decoupaged and the greeting was done on the computer abd then matted onto black and silver card cut with the nesties on the cuttlebug. Just added some card candy and there you have it.

This next card is an image from Kenny K which I coloured using promarkers..(I'm still learning). The backing paper and card was from my stash. The message was done on the computer and then matted onto card which was cut with the cuttlebug and nesties. A few bits of card candy added and the card is complete.

August Birthday's..I have many..........

....family birthdays in August and most of them are men and we all love doing men's cards. Here are the first 3 that I have made.

The first one os for my cousin, a very easy card using glittered peeloff stuck on black card. The backing card was then cut using the cuttlebug and nesties. A few bits of black card candy and a 'Happy Birthday' peel off and voila!!!

The next card is for my nephew in law. The camper van is a black peeloff from Little Claire designs stuck onto paper from my statsh. The other papers are all from my stash also. The matts have been cut using the cuttlebug and nesties.

The last card is for my brother-in-law. The image is a decoupage image that I found in my topper box. It has been stuck on green card. The paper was a cut off I found in my bits box. I then added some gems. The message was stamped.
